Our base is located in a decent sized town with a
modern hospital and air connections to the United States on a daily basis.
In addition to our bunkhouse for night before accommodation there are 4
hotels nearby as well as numerous restaurants including one right next door
to our office that serves breakfast at 0500 a.m.! Our air fleet is the
most comprehensive in the area.
Every trip begins and ends with the owner. All mid week check flights are also the owner stopping in on you, someone who cares every time.
All of our cabins are solid log with large covered decks.
Each lake has 15 h.p. motors with rock guards on the lower units to ensure that you will get a good propeller whether you come in may or September. If you happen to hit a “hidden rock” or one that “wasn’t there last year” your motor will bounce harmlessly off of it. Nice feature!
Each cabin has a 3 piece bathroom
All cabins have as standard equipment: covered decks, propane bbq’s, propane deep fryers, chest freezers and full sized ovens that work as well as a 10 cu. Foot fridge (some solar, some propane), comfortable mattresses, solar powered lights, screened windows and comfortable furniture.
Cabins are all 2 or 3 bedrooms as well.
Firewood is cut up for you as well and there is an axe there to split it.
Guide service from 2 days to your entire trip is available with advance notice.
We offer a food plan so that you can cross one more worry off of your list if your wife won’t shop for you.
And finally, a 90% guest return rate assures you that not everyone can be wrong. (I worry about the other 10% but that could be the folks I forgot in the bush and no longer like us!)

When you arrive in Sioux Lookout we have a bunkhouse facility with a lounge area at Redpine Lodge where you can stay the night before your trip. Last minute checking of gear, a well deserved beer break, swim or a game of pool in a tranquil setting among the pine trees will get you prepared for your next days fly out. |

Our 7 cabins are all of the same style, design and quality . So, no matter which lake of ours you choose, you are ensured a predictable quality result. Each cabin is pre-fab log construction, bug-tight with screened windows, and 2 to 4 bedrooms for a measure of privacy. Your cabin has all the required dishes including those famous Canadian shore lunch pans with the long handles so you can cook your fish on an open fire without de-hairing your knuckles. |

Even better than that is whether you arrive in May or September you are ensured a quality outboard motor with a good prop, not one that the "group before you must have trashed." A spare motor is generally kept at each site as well. All boats have paddles, anchors and swivel boat seats as well. Our boats are mostly Lunds and are current year Mercury engines and all of our motors have rock guard protection to prevent you from finding a mid-lake crisis while you are in the boat. |
