Verne and Andrea have owned Slate Falls Outposts since 1986. Verne is a
local native who has been commercially flying since the late 70’s, trapping and
fishing and hunting as the season dictates in between. Andrea is a Culinary
Institute of America graduate chef and the “behind the scenes” person at Slate
Falls. Our three teenage children, Yvette, Yvonne and Clayton (and Cargo
our dog) all help out with
the business as well, all though none of them are pilots (yet).
